Nothing has changed, dates going up, down and sideways. I really recommend you not to get any hopes until you see your actual car in the dealer's parking lot.

The rest is just noise.

Its a real mess all round… a lot of us will find out towards the end of next month whether we’ve been led a merry dance! Whatever you decide will be the right decision for you

As a side note, and I include myself in this , 99% of the world population could only dream of such a purchase and ownership. Ford have little or no concept or even on their radar that we are pressed of with this whole situation… I am persevering with my order, but I realise that it’s far from secure, and as I’ve said before, if I was paying anything like list price I would have told them to fluck off weeks ago !

Spoke to my dealer yesterday. He told me that my Focus has been re-segmented and the build date is showing as September 5th. Looks like I'll be getting a '72 plate then. Or it could be a '23 or even a '73 if the dates keep slipping 😂

Evans Halshaw, my build date has been pushed back by a month every month it gets to the promised build date. Now sitting at November build date when last month it was October, highly doubt I’ll see this car this year. Seems to be the St line or St that’s taking longer. My dealer ship just received a st line ven in silver in last week that was ordered in September 2021 

First of all let me tell you where I’m coming from…. Ordered in January etc. ext.   I’ve poured over every single post in this forum, and the overriding conclusion is that we’re all being ‘shafted’ . I have absolutely no confidence in Ford or their held to ransom dealers. I’ve ordered a car with a 5 grand discount, but it may never happen…. If it was from a main dealership with little or no discount I would certainly tell them to stuff the order… in about 6weeks time I’ll have the opportunity to put my money where my mouth is… there’s a shiitstorrm cost of living crisis looming, and , if I was honest with myself, I don’t need this car as if my life depended on it. So I might still tell Them to stick the car where the sun don’t shine!

I understand there’s delays and the many issues with parts and supply. It’s the complete lack of transparency, the fact that they keep repeating stay in contact with your point of sale unless you’re a sep 2021 order that kills me. You’re 100% right about a cost of living crisis, uncertain times for sure all around. I went into this deal knowing I’d have a 6month wait, not a 12 month as it looks to be turning out at the very least.

My dealer has given me the latest build date of the 22nd September with an expected delivery of late October. Ordered 3rd February, ST line Vignale 155ps automatic, parking pack, Fantastic Red 

Hello everyone and greetings from Poland! I have to say, going through all these posts was not easy, not because there are a lot of them but pieces of information you guys provide regarding your orders are... depressing (at least most of them). I don't think I will see my car this year, ufortunately. I've ordered a black STx here in Poland, on the 25th of Feb 2022. My spec: winter pack, driver assistance pack, agate black and a car alarm. And according to my dealer, there's still no estimated date of production. The worst thing is that two dealers in Poland already have stx's in their stock - unfortunately a bit different spec (one is gray with auto transmission and another one green, no car alarm, no winter pack) - both ordered in October 2021. It's very tempting to just go with the green one but spending that much money on something which is not perfect for me would be stupid. I'm just worried that my order gets cancelled for some reason and I will end up with nothing. Well... hopefully our patience will be rewarded when we finally get our cars 😉 All the best to you all!

I'm also from Poland and I the user who decided to actually order one of the Green ones from PGD Wroclaw (it has a confirmed VIN and build date). 

The other Green one (in Krakow) is actually quite interesting. So I got a hold of their quote and they didn't include the green paint into their pricing calculation. Overall its a good deal, but its missing the ST adaptive suspension which for me is a deal breaker. 

Hope you get your ST-X soon! I'd keep an eye out though, since more and more ST's are coming to Poland so I think if your patient, you might be able to buy one which is available from hand that fits your specification.

They said about 2 weeks to deliver and 2-3 days for them to inspect the car.

To Sf Gheorghe since it's not Bucharest, I got 1 month- 1 month and a half, so probably mid Sept, so yeah, I think those who ordered at a big dealer will get their cars sooner.

I'm from Brașov, we are close, now I wonder if the 2 weeks are real 😁

OK, so my guess of 6 to 8 weeks is not far, at least that was for my old Focus (current one) from the same dealer in RO.

I just hoped they would have speeded up the local bureaucratic steps.

Initially told Dec 22, then Oct 22 now Nov 22.

Yeah man,  tbh their updates mean nothing.  

But at least they are providing me with some info. 

I ordered in June 22, so that would be a great turnaround all things considered.

Nope,  June 2022 (in a pre-existing adjustable build slot, so not sure when the dealership actually ordered)
