FYI everyone, I have no monetary deposit on my order at all. My dealer said I'm free to back out whenever cos they'll sell it straight away anyway.

I think different dealer franchises have different rules.

I used to own an Mx5 AE 2.0 186 orange, naturally aspirated engine and the stats gave 0-60 @ 6.5 secs!

 I became the‘target’ of every muppet on the planet to get passed me! I stupidly tried to do that 0-60 one day, choosing a quiet strip of road with no chance of someone or something pulling out on me… couldn’t achieve that, got about 7.8.. was told by ‘experts’ that I would have to be brutal with clutch and gear changes to get anywhere near! On one trip out (and I normally stick to speed limits) , a bmw appeared in my rear view, so I thought, have a good try at getting passed… didn’t I feel silly when that was achieved easily! It was an M sport convertible with 350 bhp! Taught me a valuable lesson. Most cars on the road can do 100 mph and I wasn’t prepared to go anywhere near that speed because  you just don’t know what’s up ahead or around the next bend.. to be honest the reaction/ jealousy of other motorists ruined the pleasure for me . That and the fact the mrs. Hated being in it, meant it had to go..! Sorry if this is not in correct forum but seemed sort of in context of st line YouTube review…

Nice to have a story whilst we wait for our Focuses. 

So there was talk of Ford concentrating on EV's etc which may not help delays with the Focus, yet today they have announce the all new Mustang with its 5.0 V8. Yep, very committed to lower the carbon foot print.  Don't get me wrong I love big powerful engines but surly they should be concentrating on sorting the current mess out.

The mustang is Ford of America though tbf.

The Focus is Ford of Europe.

I don't know why, but in the Midlands I have seen about 5 of em.

One in Apr which surprised me, an ST Line, but mostly actives.

One two Sundays ago.

Each time I see em I think, how on earth did you get that?

Which leads me to thinking. Maybe when we get them they'll be quite rare.....

Im in the Midlands too plimp, was in Cov & Leicester today, didn't see one. 

I really wanna see (& hear) a full fat ST. 

None in my local dealerships.

I have the vin but it's not full, does any of the newly owners please tell me the first 6 from the vin. If any one knows the diferrence between the 5door and the Station i apreciate. 

And another news, my wagon witch is already build as a estimate date of build from 1 of July, In deed made at 8 July but it wasen't ordered In 17 of March, its a 2021 November order that the dealer changed as he said it will do. So assuming that its gona be rought to the 2022 place In system orders...

ok, i managed to discover the complete vin and went to etis to see all the things we like to see.

The only thing i really didn`t understood is the orders management. Why in the well did a order from 3 November was able to be taken in March if are orders from that time frame for beeing made.

In my country(Romania), I've seen plenty of 4.5s, Titanium, Titanium X, ST Line X, most of them with Sync 4...I'm feeling so bad for waiting 7 months+ and not having yet the car...Never ever order a car from Ford.

I've just had a postcard type mailer from the local Ford dealer.  Apparently they have 30+ Focus's in stock for a 'special event' next week.  Doesn't say what spec or engine they are though.

 

Just noticed the number of St line vignales on autotrader uk has doubled from 16 to 32.

Things must be coming through. 

Yeah, they're definitely coming, the problem is that they'll shut down the factory for the summer and it's not nice. It was already at really low capacity, they should make the cars in august because they already had like a vacation

Apart from the summer holiday I hope Ford's announcement to shut the factory in 2025 doesn't spark industrial action adding to the delays..

Its good to hear that the whole world is waiting for their Focus's - Down here in Australia they only offer the ST, essentially no options just a ST and a ST-X. 

Ive placed my order back in Feb, after enquiring back in Dec 21, still, not a single update. Sad really, Given we're so far away, probably not as profitable for Ford, but there customer service is a little shocking in comparison to other brands. Waiting on a Toyota as well, but at least the dealers, and their head office in Australia are at least providing some production 'updates', even if there isn't any. Kinda makes me regret jumping to the ford brand, hopefully that changes once I pick her up 🙂

  The really big thing that im upset with is no custom drive mode, from the test drive the ride on the 'sport' setting, is just too firm and 80% of the time probably dont need to hold the gears for as long as it does in sport (I really wanted manual, but we only get auto's here in the ST-X) does anyone have a link to how to change this via ForeScan or know whether its possible?

In Australia it's a different story, there I think they're importing the car from Europe, so it's a little bit more complicated. Don't have high hopes since us, Europeans, we're waiting for 7 months+ and we still don't have our cars...
