Popular Post StephenFord
Just taking stock coming up to the new year, and realised I joined this forum almost 5 years ago. I think I wanted an initial query on what model Focus I owned LOL The usefulness of this forum cannot be underestimated. Especially when you own a car heading into it's 19th year of life when it was designed to be disposed of after 5 years. It still amazes me the the level of expertise you find here, and the level of camaraderie to get problems sorted, and to simply have a yarn & a laugh about life in general. Although maybe not 'friends' in the traditional sense, there are folk on here I would class as such, and know I can rely on for help. Just wanted to say, 'Thank you...' 13

Janner7859
I've been on here since I bought my Focus four years ago in 2019. It's the first place I turn to for information when I have a problem.
Ian Lanc
What a great post ❤️ First & only Ford forum I use, had our Fiesta from brand new [10 plate] and despite a few problems here & there it has to be the most reliable car we've owned, yes it's not perfect now but it's a great car, so far we've encountered all these problems and asked on this great Forum for advice, getting all decent replies and because of my encounters I've been able to advise others who are coming into the same problems.....Stuff going to a Ford Dealership as they'll swindle you out of you hard earned cash. Rear Spring bushes [fell to bits/both sides renewed] Rear Spring [snapped/both sides renewed] Rear trailing arms [separated/deteriorated/both sides renewed] Front suspension spring [snapped/both sides renewed] Both front wishbone bushes [deteriorated/both sides renewed] I think the exhaust is next in line to be renewed, some really rusty pipes towards the back.

You know my son took his Fiesta ST into a ford dealership for a full service once, bearing in mind it's a 14 plate and was about 2020 at that time, all Ford was interested in was pulling the wool over my son's eyes and giving him grief that the car was old so maybe he fancied a newer 20 plate ST, son didn't want a new car, he just wanted a full service......pushy gits......He's still got his old ST and still loves it, I reckon he likes it because he can just about blow away every big poweful car into the weeds.....🤣 😂 🤣
