Lenny
This could mean bluetooth feature plug & play. May need to do more finds in loom. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app Take time to research model numbers when purchasing the bluetooth module, They all plug in to the same loom but there software compatibilitys are different, Mondeo module wont function with focus stereo, 2005-2008 focus module wont function with voice control You require a bluetooth module to match the erea of stereo 2008-2011 in order to make use of all functions, Regardless of what eBay sellers say or what car they say it came from, the model numbers never lye, You need to find the model number which is compatable with your system. Its all plug&play after that.

Mondeo or fiesta one doesnt work on focus. thanks Lenny Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app No prob mate, Ive learned the hard way with the Sony stereo's I had a 6cd Sony but it was from a 2009 Mondeo, Results: no communication with Aux, bluetooth or voice control also mic would squeak occasionally I then sold that and fitted a Sony simgle CD from a focus, But its from a 2007 focus, its still oval facelift shape, Results: no communication with Aux, bluetooth or voice control. Still have this stereo fitted to date ill eventually swap it out for the correct model.
higgsy
For usb/voice control. You will need: Module with part number starting with the letters higher than/including AM ie AN,AO,AP. Sony stereo with a firmware revision of 05-XX-XX or higher ( ie if starts with 04 won't work) If second hand and also if comes from another model you will need to change VIN number programmed to IT/model number with ELM config. Think the module is VCM. Also the voice stalk/mic/ usb cable If you have any quations give me a shout as I research this extensively when retrofitting bluetooth/usb/voice control to my car Sent from my Nexus 5 using Ford OC mobile app

yunii
Nice one :) this mod has been on my radar for a while now along with the 'Passenger Airbag' one to finish it off and balance it out. Where did you get the switch from and how did you wire it in? Went down terry or tezza as known yesterday & picked it up i think £17 .i didnt wire it it had a socket behind a blank nearest to drivers side one. Check behind .almost had bluetooth working but no sound as terry bought module of a mk2.Yunii
yunii
I am going to fit this Behind switch is 3.5mm aux cable hole so could use this instead of in glovebox aux. Then the mini usb fits into mini to usb then into male to female usb that into usb to power outlet , which i'll take feed from back of radio. As for airbag switch ford make you sign for liability reasons before fitting but ask tezza regarding this. Yunii
