Things I Don't Like

Do you like any US sitcoms?  The Channel 4 channels are full of them atm!  Melissa & Joey, Man With a Plan, etc...

I don't mind them, but only as a last resort when there's nothing else on!  I tend to watch Salvage Hunters or Combat Dealers in the afternoons at the moment.  Never watched afternoon TV before lockdown!

I did used to like Big Bang Theory for the first few series...got fed up of being told how similar I am to Sheldon though!

I've only liked the Simpsons, family guy, only fools & horses and father Ted

Channel 4 has always been full of US sitcoms, especially in the mornings and afternoons before Countdown etc come on. In the 90s it was Cheers reruns, Frasier and Friends.

Ha ha, same regarding Sheldon.

Both The Simpsons and Family guy are stale now and have been for years. American Dad is better than Family Guy.
I've just recently got into Modern Family but, like all sitcoms, they get a bit samey after a while.
I did used to watch How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Girls (I actually liked 2 Broke Girls though).

I don't like that my bank balance has dropped significantly in this last week. £633 on car tax and insurance and the 13 model kits I've ordered along with some paints has set me back another £460.
At least the model kits will keep me occupied and sane for a while during the lockdown.

I haven't watched The Simpsons for years, didn't know they still made them, thought it was just all repeats now.

I used to watch Family Guy & American Dad on BBC3 but since moving to ITV2 it seems like half the show is adverts so I don't often bother unless there's really nothing else on Freeview.

I do like the fact BBC1 still has a BBC3 'takeover' some evenings.  I don't generally like dating shows but Hot Property is a good laugh on Tuesday nights.  I reckon Zain should apply for the show, see if Yung Filly can find him a girlfriend!

Anyone else watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine?

Nope...

In other news...the Wahl website doesn't have any clippers under £100 left now! 😮

Might have to look at another brand...

PM'ed you.

I don't like getting one of these as a courtesy car while the mondeo is in for repairs due to the idiot that reversed into me

don't think i've ever driven something quite this small before, the auto gearbox is sooo slow to shift, and it's a bit clunky doing shifts really. not any faster in manual mode. it's also really bumpy as you'd expect, and the steering is surprisingly numb for a car of it's size. despite the negatives it's not all that bad tbh, perhaps one of them might make sense if you lived in central london, as you could park this thing on a coin.

one positive is that it gets incredible MPG, i got 58 MPG return to the post office driving around town, on a journey that my mondeo would have gotten only 26 MPG on!

Oh aye, nothing faster than a hire car [emoji6]

Don't like when Facer App for Galaxy Watch gets problems with weather display, when you reset and save and still blank or sticks at one temp.
Read about it and works on only some major problem.
Look for another App.

Right had absolutely the worst afternoon I can remember! Doing the autobeam install, the brake lights don’t fit (won’t turn to seat them in the holder) lost a screwdriver under the fuse box so will never get that back! What do I do about the brake lights?

And now a double post to make it even better.

Why won't they turn?  Can you see where it's catching?

The screwdriver should end up on the undertray after a drive, it's only 10mm sockets that get lost forever.

Hopefully, I do actually still have my 10mm atm! I can’t see what they’re catching on, I’ve tried each bulb on each side, spun them 180 degrees and won’t go in.

A car dealer tried to give me a Fiat Panda as a courtesy car once. I refused and said if you can’t do me something off your hire fleet (a focus would have been nice) then the car they were fixing would be getting returned to them. It was 5 days after I bought it.

They did their best, and gave me a Peugeot 208.

I should have taken the Panda.

Haha. Not sure which is worse tbh!

I feel like I'm moaning and it's a 'first world problem', but I do wish the insurance companies and and other firms could invest even a few pennies more, so that they could loan out 'economy class' cars (i.e. corsa or fiesta size). For example I ended up really liking the Fiesta Active I had as a courtesy car a few months ago, which I didn't think would be possible for a small car! Shockingly comfortable and refined.

Hmm, they're just normal bulbs aren't they?  I didn't have either Mk3 long enough to replace any rears!  You'll have to put them side by side with the standards and see what's different.

Lol, tbf I've never lost a 10mm either...I'll often spend longer trying to retrieve a tool than the job itself took!

They’re the little LED Autobeam ones that look like lightsabers, I’ve sent a message to customer service so will see what they say.

I don't like the fact that we seem to be using the American style of date system! ie Month/Day/Year as opposed to the correct way Day/Month/Year.

Maybe it's been like that for a while and I haven't noticed, maybe it's something I can change in my settings 🤔

It's been like that forever but maybe be changeable!
