You can scan certain receipts and be rewarded for doing so.

If you fill in an online survey using the code on your receipt from McDonald's you can get a Big Mac and chips for £1.99. Bargain if you like a Maccies from time to time.

I know, I've done that 5 times in the last month, I'm turning into a fat pig! LOL

Not keen on MC Donald's food, but hasn't held me back from being a fat pig.🤣🤣

LOL, I had my 1st BigMac in 1972! Have liked them ever since, though until recently, I only had one maybe 2 or 3 times/year. Unfortunately for me, there is a McD close to mum's, and on a stressful visit last month, treated myself on way home and I discovered the 'offer', hence often now when I visit her, well, fat pig time LOL

This winter I don't think it's a bad thing to add a little extra blubber, save on heating costs!  As a skinny person, we really feel the cold!

I don't have that feeling of cold very often. My blubber and hairs keep me warm. I'm one of the few at work that are in t shirts most of the year. Has to be below 10c to get another layer on. I'd quite happily not have the heating on in winter at home . My feet , hands and head are allways warm/hot.

Not had a MCd's in a long long time.Much prefer a trip to the butchers once a month for plenty of rump / sirloin steak and some proper thick cut pork chops.

Still in shorts n t-shirt on a daily basis here too at work. Outside it's just an addition of a hoodie or a really lightweight breathable jacket if I'm out for a run on an evening.

Yep, especially when the ice is on the inside of the windscreen! (It's a feature of older cars LOL)

I remember ice on the inside of windows as a child/teenager. No heating except for a coal fire in the living room .

I had a mini that the heater valve on the cyl head broke in the closed position and couldn't afford to fix it over winter. It was a tap , no cable to control heater from inside.

I meant on the house windows, my Ghia has the heated front screen, first ever in 40 years of vehicle ownership. In the great snow storm of the 60's the backyard on my parents terrace filled with snow, so we dug a tunnel from the backdoor to the backgate and outhouse. Now those were winters.

The farmers must be muck spreading today near my home, stinks. It's that or I've ***** myself in the hot tub

it would float if you had hahahahahaha

Perhaps not such a good idea to have a dog flap in the back door so the dog can come in and out as she pleases .

Apparently the pidgeon was still alive but featherless, just a few under its neck left.

Don't like finding out my pay has stopped. Found out due to my apprenticeship contract ended on the 17th this has resulted in me not getting paid after then. Also got a parking ticket for parking in the hospital I work in on the 17th. Likely is linked to this.

Matron is on the case and hopefully they sort this out as I'm basically working for free.

Due to my tutor having a larger workload and more students my apprenticeship had to be longer though no one informed me or my head about this date. Makes me want to change jobs

@zain611 that's a bit of a kick in the teeth! Hopefully you'll get it sorted 🤞

Went today so hopefully I think they might of sorted my contract out. Parking notice I gave to one guy in my department who said he can sort this out so all good. Only worry about the moment now is with my permit. Was told my plate isn't on the system and that they aren't giving parking permits out till the multi story carpark they are building in the hospital is finished. Heard it'll be around Jan. Can park on the main road however there is restrictions on event days plus that worry about residents keying cars like what happened to one colleague.

I really don't like being bombarded every 15 minutes with ads inviting me to claim against car companies on their less than truthful statements of diesel emissions. What personal loss did anyone suffer because of this??

You may as well start a class action against them of overstating the fuel  economy when they told you your car get 45Mpg, when on real driving, you struggle to get 30Mpg! At least that is a demnstartable loss of money owners were conned in to.

I suppose the legal business has taken a dive since the demise of PPI action recently LOL

Now, can anyone lend me their No. Plate details of their diesel car that wiped out all those dolphins so I can join in getting some free money??

Yep, I agreed with you in an earlier thread:

I cannot see how Ford or their dealers are at fault for failing to predict a political move which was years in the future at the time of sale.

The diesel compensation claims are based on alleged misrepresentation of emissions by "cheating" to comply with official tests. I find it difficult to see how individual owners have in any way suffered from this. On the contrary, and particularly if a company car user, they have benefited from various tax advantages.

I have myself been approached by lawyers regarding claims in respect of diesel cars I have owned. As I had suffered no financial loss (and indeed, benefitted, as mentioned) this seemed to me unethical and I declined to have anything to do with it.

Christmas...

I really don't like having to go into the roof space 9 x times to bring down 'christmas', and then unpack it all, and find out that one set of lights has a broken transformer.  However, I do like when searching in my man drawer I found a suitable replacement power supply, and it's all up and done for the next 4 weeks!

I prefer the Bah Humbug method and put up 1 string of tinsel.
