E5GDM
The ecoboost wasn't designed with wheel spin in mind, but for grown ups & fuel economy.
winemart2
The slight screech is what your looking for. The right rpm and just the right clutch engage to produce a bit of a squeal gives a terrific take-off and rpm continues to rise (when you get it right). Not too often though, broken half-shafts are a pain ;)
Lenny
Cars these days are eqipped with ESP Electronic stability programme, It applies brakes to any wheel that rotates faster than the rest, Switch it off if you can, should be in menu when hand brake is engaged Then the wheels will spin but also then it becomes a car and not a simulator, Cant throw it in to bends with ESP off as it wont help you stay on the road. Car becomes a real car, Best advise get yourself a toyota Glanza or somthing pre 2002 real car Cable controled throttle Not like todays electronic valve which the system over rides and no traction control, No electronic over rides, No costly remapping, just bleed valve on turbo for 20 quid No diagnostics old skool mechanics I picked up a Toyota Levin BZR for 1500 before and got it out of my system, 1.6 170bhp non turbo vti twin cam engine, ESP can be turned off because in snow your car wouldnt drive 3 metres with it actived
Lenny
Other option, Get two baking trays, Put one under each rear wheel in car park, Leave handbrake on, Drive around drifting like a Boss!!
chrisroberson99
Why an earth would you want to do a wheel spin in a Fiesta? All it does is wear out your tyres more quickly burns more fuel.

TomsFocus
The engine is mapped not to give you full torque with 0 speed...saves breaking things in the transmission/clutch/drivetrain etc. ECU's are much more complicated now than they were 10/15 years ago! Not sure why you want full on wheel spin anyway, just looks stupid, a little chirp and a quick pull away looks cool haha. ;)
