GoodKat... the eyebrows/lids that I purchased were eBay item 331415393856

Don't expect a flush fit like the ones shown in the picture as they are defiantly photoshopped. The seller has asked me to send some pictures of mine on so I am assuming they are for that. If you are looking at fitting some them you will need to set aside a good couple of hours of silicone to make them look pretty. I have put silicone around the lids too to keep the damp out and stop any wind getting under that could pull them off also.

Alternatively (correct me if I am wrong Lenny) but Lenny has actually sprayed the inside of the plastic on his headlights. Advantage of this I guess is that you don't need to worry about weathering and all that jazz. There are perks to whichever way you do it really.

They look smart and subtle but by no means a quick job. I want to get my Zetec S bumper and grill on the front now as it is looking a tad naked at the bottom.

Alternative option:

I've painted my brows on like your grandma,

Mask up the factory line that's scribed in the lens of the headlights.

  • 2 months later...

Been a very long time since I've done anything. Passed my MOT in that time and had some new wheels. Only change at the moment are some pedals I treated myself to. I have got some tinting film to blacken my side repeaters but currently saving for my respray. Happy modding all :)

Little bit more done to the car last night ..

I wanted to get the side indicators tinted so done some investigating. Firstly I tried using tinting film but failed terribly. Once I had given up here I sort the guidance of my local car wrapping company. They advised me I would never be able to wrap them neatly due to the curves. As a result they pushed me in the direction of some tinted lacquer. I tried it last night and this was the result. Comments please :)

looks good and blends in with your colour. I bought a pair of crystal clear side repeters for my focus and must say they look great

Thank you. Took some time to get it perfect but I'm happy now. You got the same focus?

So, Spring will officially start next week so I thought I would give the car a quick Spring clean. This morning was a little on the chilly side so I decided to use Mequiars gold wash and wax to get a good finish quickly and save me some time waxing. I have applied some more t-cut to the spoiler this morning as there were some imperfections I wanted to remove.

Anybody else have a spring clean?

Just looked on your thread and looks really good. You planning much else for it? I've got a zetec s kit to go on and a twin pipe system and that will be the big mods done.

Looking good mate. :D

Are you keeping those wheels when you fit the Zetec S bodykit? As I have the same wheels and wondered how it would look with the bodykit. :)

I am yes.. They will remain silver for a couple of months post kit but will then be resprayed a dark gun metal grey. I like the wheels and haven't got any plans to change them to ST ones.

Unfortunately I dont have the side skirts but I will be putting rally flaps on. Hopefully it will look OK. Might have to buy some if it doesn't but they are a rare find
