Alex.S
So, they’ve replaced both front tyres!! On 17500 miles! I only got to speak to a salesman that picked up/dropped off my car. He couldn’t explain it. Cost me nothing , and they’re Michelin’s . I’m thinking a Ford technician probably now has 2 hardly worn Michelin tyres on his car , maybe scamming the lease company. Purely speculation tho. I’ll never know.
TomsFocus
Matey had his brake pads changed at 13k... I suspect there's sone sort of deal going on with MB servicing lol. I take it you didn't get an itemized invoice either?
Alex.S
No invoice. They could’ve claimed for all sorts of things!
Eric Bloodaxe
I used to come across such things with our leased company cars. I usually found out about it because a driver had been told the lease company had ceased dealing with his nominated servicing garage and on querying it with the lease company it invariably turned out that the garage had tried it on with unnecessary work. I generally found lease companies were red hot on that sort of thing, perhaps that's not the case nowadays or maybe it's just MB?
Alex.S
I posted about this before, not worth starting another topic for, the car came back from the dealership months ago with what I thought looked like a crap SMART repair on the bumper . There was absolutely nothing needing repaired. Since yesterdays service it looks more like the correct colour. But light and more importantly iPhone cameras tend to auto adjust brightness etc to get the ‘best’ photo. Here’s an older photo and a photo taken today...different colour or camera settings?
