I don't think so, and I honestly I'm not expecting to have any update this year, typical ford...This is my last Ford

I've had calls from the Ford UK customer relations every week this month.  Obviously no update in August but I am told September.  We'll wait and see.

After speaking with customer care again.

They’re hoping last week In September. But as normal this could change.

Do we know if newly built focuses are experiencing these same issues? I know the digital dash has been updated on the newer builds.

Ford updated my Focus to version 6.1.0 via OTA yesterday.

Built 02/23

Just checked on the FordPass app and says it says it's downloaded 6.1.0 on my May 23 built car.

Exactly the same. I drove a brand new model last month. 
Every Focus has the same issue.

there may be 3 versions I’ve heard to bring it bang up to date with everything Ford want.

 

the question is does it fix the issues?  

My car built on August 2022 doesn't have this version, so again ford it's discriminating users... 

Hello people, i have been away a little but reading your comments,  does anyone else confirm new updates? we have gone from sync 4.2.0 to 6.1.0?

6.2.0 seems to be the latest version ,but it's old, it was released in Dec 2023 for the Mustang

My Focus from april of 2023 has just received 6.10! Im in Spain.

Hope this fix the issues

Just received the 6.10 update and it's worse than before, a lot of users said that is update it's worse(I have issues with android auto sound), but it seems Ford will fix the issue on powerup 6.20, let's see..

BTW, the version of sync it's the same, so we don't have the fix for driving modes unavailable and so on.

Yes, they released the update a little bit later , they released in waves I suppose 😄 But yeah, this update it's not OK, unfortunately..

In my case before and after OTA 6.1 wireles android auto worked fine , no issue at all with driving modes etc. as well

Only issue I had was maps freez and Bluetooth issue - to early to evaluate if issues are solved with 6.1

6.2.0 took a while to download (2x 35 Minutes). 
No change of versions in Sync or Navigation. Changelog says something about the modem and preparations for future updates. 😕

Ford are realising the updates in batches to the focus over a 3 week period.

There are 3-4 possible updates, depending on which version your updating from  

6.1.0 is the update that set your car up for 6.xx series. Should also update the main console I believe. 
6.2.0 will update many things on sync 4 it’s self and a TCU (Modem) to prevent further issues. 

Fingers crossed on this, almost 10 months since I started the thread, not holding my breath.

On a more positive note, gave the car the works at the weekend and still looking good!
