Lenny
+1 for getting the car with Terraclean. From the bit of research I did, older cars would benefit greatly from it. Might get some of those ponies that were lost over the years as well. It's not that expensive either. I know someone who had his engine done with Terraclean, one weeks later it blew up, nowt to do with the clean it wasn't running right for a while and clasping at straws got it done, complete waste of money in his case as he had engine swapped out. There is a TeraClean van rolling around the area and i had considered having it done but not just yet because although not detected in the MOT the car still has a leaking cam cover oil seal, Ill get the cat changed for a new one and put it in for retest, I've been around various places yesterday pricing custom built wedding rings, hotel etc. So my Levin budget at present forecast is 500euro until September, so that's gonna cover the cost of a new cat, CV boot and retest, that's it then until September, To be honest though I'm not complaining as the whole wedding thing is well worth the investment and will be fun only one time to do it rite, Many cars can be done many times but only one day to get the wedding done rite and the rings done the way they are wanted, once they go on they don't come off
Lenny
How romantic. Exchange rings and then lay down some wicked donuts in the carpark as you leave. Btw, congrats Lenny & Vicki on the upcoming merger :) Like this clive? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GhToHYsaJE&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Hassen
Nice speech Lenny. Very sensible indeed. Cars come and go like you said. Good luck with the wedding plans etc. I have no clue how to plan a wedding as mine had 20 odd people and I had nothing to do with it. All I did on the day was get into my suit and take a taxi to the registry office :P The second time was in Mauritius and still I had nothing to do with it. All I did was turn up. No, I have only been married to one person :P Go figure
Lenny
hey Lenny, congrats on the addition to the family, and all the best for the marriage mate.... sorry to hear about selling the Levin, isn't there anyway you could keep it as a weekend toy and get back into the focus? Thanks mate, Well i need a second car to get to work because Vicki needs to do the school run in the rain and the kids do ballet on Wednesdays which requires a car to get to, I've searched to see how much Levin's are now selling for and they are all under 2000euro My reason for selling was not a cost issue but to get somthing less powerful that i would be less likely to get myself killed in but if i can manage to go easy on the throttles then i suppose i can keep it, Only thing is: the project will be on hold until September onwards as ill be saving for the wedding instead of spending on the project, Nice speech Lenny. Very sensible indeed. Cars come and go like you said. Good luck with the wedding plans etc. I have no clue how to plan a wedding as mine had 20 odd people and I had nothing to do with it. Lenny
Congratulations lenny and vicky this is great news well done. All very sudden after same !Removed! marriage becomes legal, is there something you'd like to share miss lenny? Sent from my automated robot M1X-M4573R-700N3Y Same s*x marriage is still illegal in Ireland as far as I'm aware,One advantage though is ill pay less tax on my income as a married couple, Aswell as if i crashed the Levin and Vicki died, as a married couple id automatically still father my kids but if not married then the kids could be taken in to foster care if we weren't married and Vicki hadn't left a legal will behind her. And third thing is "shir its the thing to do" But mainly tax incentive it will all pay for itself next year when i file a return.

MartynS
hahaha that's him told! Bit suprised at the kids thing though, seems wrong that they may go to foster care when he's one of the parents!

Well she does now you've posted it lol Well i wouldn't disclose anything like that on the forum :pLenny ya full of !Removed! mate, you love Vicki because she says you have to :P :PTrue hahaha that's him told! Bit surprised at the kids thing though, seems wrong that they may go to foster care when he's one of the parents! over here its still some old clergy laws from catholic religion where you must get married before having kids etc. So the law is still in favour of married couples and aimed to get people that way, i would be classed as there biological father but not legal guardian in the eyes of the law until married
Lenny
Just thinkin there: if the baby's a boy could call him "levi" in respect of the Levin and since the wedding is a tax dodge and levi's a tax collector in the bible or so I've been told

Ive never being religious but at the same time respect others in what ever makes them happy and I look after me and my own. Ps if its a girl how about Stephanie, and a boy Stephen after the aforementioned Step ladder LOL.

Lenny
I hope your a man of your word, suprised is not the word I would of used, Im having flash backs of all the crap we gave her on here lol she would be quite at home in your focus and she's toll free park&ride until sometime in October :pStopped off at Toyota Dealership on the way home to purchase the CV Boot because the drivers side failed the NCT due to a torn CV Boot, I had a starlet before and CV Boot tore, cost 25euro for a replacement and some grease job done, BUT! Ow the Levin has Super Strut Suspension, It has two CV boots on either hub, an inner and an outer, today's trip to Toyota for a drivers side CV boot cost me 107.64euro On top of the 4ltrs of oil that's 150.39euro for no noticeable change in anything and excluding labour, I then had to put a further 40 euro petrol in the tank to get to/from work next 6 days, Followed by booking a courier to take the drum containing the black headlights units to the UK, Quick Quote on Parcel2Go was 20.00 euro ex.VAT bargain i thought, I then put in the specific details aswell as contents value and well ended up paying 37.22 for shipping I then phoned Souhans to arrange an appointment to have the CV Boot kit fitted, headlights aligned and the emissions sorted, thankfully they have a full NCT test equipment so they will b3 able to probe the exhaust system and diagnose the problem, If they cant fix all three problems for under 300 quid then the Levin's gotta come off the road due to not being NCT compliant, I cant afford to invest any further until September due to saving for the wedding. I then thought id take the levin for a drive, Reversing out of the drive i scuffed the gate off the rear passenger quarter panel causing a few little white scratches to match the boot and spoiler
