Things I Don't Like

I don't like that Pets @ Home had too many loud children running about the aisles, seemingly without parents. One of the things MGAR said was Pipper gets very anxious around unruly small children:sad:   There was also a pug running about off lead but he wasn't doing it loudly and Pipper was quite happy to sniff him; and him her.  He'd actually escaped off the grooming table, when the groomer turned round to get something:laugh:

I also don't like the price of the food the Pipper is used to, £58 for a small sack:ohmy: which the pack says is a 14 day pack size:ohmy:  She will over time, convert to having raw food like Brandy had, but for at least a month she'll have what she's used to, and then I'll phase her in gradually over a 6-8 week period.

I don't like that both the 405 and Focus have their low fuel lights on, and I can do nothing about it until I get paid tomorrow!!

I once drove for 96 miles from the moment the low fuel light illuminated, a rather nerve wracking drive, as I feared it would just run out of fuel at any moment.

If you buy working dog food you save on VAT. [emoji41]

I never knew that.

Pipper's food was prescribed by the MGAR vet, it's from Royal Canin Specialised Vet Prescribed range, which is probably why it's rather pricey. Our vet stocks it, but they said go to Pets @ Home as it's cheaper there

What vehicle was that in?

I don't like knowing that I could spend tomorrow morning/early afternoon getting the cars cleaned inside and out which is direly needed, but cannot because I have to work 10:00-15:30...

Knowing my luck the weather will not cooperate with me doing it on Sunday, which is my day off.

That was the free Astra with it's 1.7 Isuzu engine, which was more efficient than Vauxhall's own offerings

Not so much a "don't like", but more a "don't understand" is that the MK1 Focus Ghia has electric height adjustment on the driver's seat, but manual fore and aft...  I had assumed it would be all manual or all electric, but a mixture of the two seems very odd.

Whatever happened to that car?  Did you manage to find a buyer who wanted to drive it or did it end up scrapped?

It was scrapped via Giveacar to benefit the Dog's Trust, who received a donation of £136 from the scrap buyer.  Whereas, I was offered £44 for it, or £34 if I wanted it collected

I don't like the forecast for Sunday morning, it's now heavy rain.

I might to change the location of Pipper's Sunday extended stroll if it is actually heavy rain. I was going to give her, her first experience of Dartmoor, which Brandy in her younger years loved. Dartmoor in the rain can be rather boggy:mellow:

I really don't like the sides dinners past two days,

So today I finished working day 6 and commenced some DIY in the home,

The wife offered to go to Tesco and purchase two cooked pizza's.

she arrived back 20 minutes later with two raw pizzas which cost the same price as cooked no difference. And proceeds to contribute to the household electricity consumption by cooking the pizzas which were supposed to be cooked at home of purchase rather than just asking the person in Tesco to cook them.

when I question the status of the situation she said the woman making them didn't ask if i wanted them cooked so I didn't tell her I wanted them cooked 😦

this is the second incident of wasting expenditure this month following the food in diswasher wrecking the pump incident which occurred at the start of the month 😧

I work six day weeks and fund everything, in work I achieve goals and get results if i didn't I wouldn't be there atall.

When you devote six days a week to work and contribute everything you can to the extent that you can't physically do anything more and you rely on an individual to be competent in carrying out fairly simple household tasks in return.

it's uncomfortable to say the least.

It's not looking good good for 2017 😅

I don't like a 60 mile round trip in the Focus tonight to get £5 worth of CDs for my mother...  I wouldn't have minded so much if 90% of the journey didn't involve narrow country roads in the pitch dark and heavy rain.  That said, there were a couple of positives to it which I will post in the "do like" thread.

I don't like the fact that the check engine light went on while test-driving a 15 plate Mondeo this morning...

Doesn't exactly inspire confidence!!

I'm hoping it was just a lemon, because out of all the mediocre cars I've test-driven, it was the one I liked the most. It had the 2.0 Ecoboost, so it went like a stabbed rat :)

That is a poor show!  It could be if it has been used for lots of short test-drives that one of the sensors needs cleaned/replaced.  Still, for a petrol I would not expect it to have such a warning at less than 2 years old.

I don't like the forecast for tomorrow for Dartmoor is for heavier rain than they said yesterday:sad:, not that Dorset will be any drier:mellow:

Pipper's extended Sunday walk will be a wet one, wherever we go:sad:

It could be worse, some years ago, a mate took a new Renault Laguna out for test drive: it burst into flames as he waited at some traffic lights:ohmy:

Exactly! Also, you might be right about it being a sensor issue, because it seemed to drive just fine.

One of the front body panels was also slightly mis-aligned with another (the bonnet cover with the front bumper), but I thought it might be down to manufacturing flaws, as the mondy sitting next to it also was the same (however the one next to that didn't have that problem).

I dont like putting Christmas decorations in the attic today and finding a leak in the roof which is pearling on the felt and dripping down the cavity wall.

the room inside of this area is the bathroom with tiled walls but noticed mould starting on the ceiling of the bathroom was putting it down to shower must but know better now.
