But how do you know where to stop when washing your face!? 🤔

I've already got a lot more forehead to do than a decade ago.

You don't. You just wash your scalp and head at the same time.

You wouldn't just wash your nuts without washing the sausage would you ?

In fairness, I rarely dunk my undercarriage in the basin though...whereas I do regularly give just my face a wash!

This could be something for the 'do like' thread...but currently it belongs in here!

Think I may have just been drawn in by a scam website...  Has anyone used this site before?  Or even heard of it!?

demmoir – demmoir

Prices seem VERY competitive, at least for the items I know a bit about (too cheap in all honesty!), and they don't charge any postage either...

Just as an update to this...it is clearly a scam website, and looking at it now, I don't know how I didn't realise it at the time.  I could blame health issues or heatwaves, but ultimately it was still my choice.

I've put in a PayPal claim this morning, and immediately got an email to say I'll be getting a refund and that the case is closed.  I assume they must have had other issues with this PayPal address to resolve it without any further checks!?

My car went in for a service today.and I had a Ford ecoboost as a courtesy car and what a horrid car it had no go  and wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding

Did they not give a Body and Chassis to go with the ecoboost engine ? 🤣

Better than walking though.

Probably meant an EcoSport. Would know what horrid was referring too then.

I meant ecosport and there was nothing sporty about it and I would rather had walked as who the last person to drive it must have died of cancer as it stunk of stale cigarettes and I had I had to wash my clothes and have a shower because of the smell of nicotine

On the plus side, you didn't have to drive your perpetually broken Fiesta for a few hours!

My car wasn't broken just in for its service.and all was fine on it.😁

Well that's definitely a bonus!

Front offside tyre was a sitting at 24psi yesterday morning. Inflated back up to 32 yesterday and it's now back to 27 this morning.

Well, I've just done 200 miles to stay in a dire hotel in Great Yarmouth for the night then travel back tommorow another 200 miles. Partner's elderly mum fell and hurt her ankle/foot ( still waiting on ambulance from 3pm to check her over) and while on her first days holiday there with her other daughter and kids. She won't be well enough to get about while there so we picking her up and bringing her home to us for a few days .

Ambulance never turned up(18hrs and counting)  so just about man handled partner's mum into my car this morning and took her to A&e. I'm sat in the car in a&e carpark since 10am. Still waiting on verdict if she having operation and staying in or not. We both got work tommorow so need a decision soon as it's another 4hrs back home.

@iantt that's not good! On the few occasions we've had to call an ambulance for my mum thankfully we've not had to wait too long.

Hopefully she'll be seen soon and she'll get the treatment she needs.

NHS and the ambulance service are needing serious help from the bottom up. Seriously understaffed and funded, can't be easy for the dedicated staff to carry on under such difficult circumstances with, mostly, a smile on their faces.

Here's one for you...  Why does a sheet of 50x 2nd class stamps cost nearly 5 times as much to post as 7 books of 8 stamps (56 stamps total).  🤔

Are they folding the sheet into a cube first?  May seem trivial, but it's an extra 10p per stamp to buy the 50 sheet.

Size matters lol.

If the book of stamps is smaller in LxW than the sheet of stamps itself.

The stamp sheets are perforated for folding though.  They don't need to send them in an A3 envelope!

I can only assume it's been worked out by an algorithm.

Don't like being caught out by the Google calendar yet again...  Every year I plan around this Bank Holiday...and every year it's Scotland only! 🤦‍♂️

What are you planning. I didn't think one day to the next was any different to you. My parents don't know what day of the week is and even less so a bank holiday

Lol, weekdays are all the same, until the banks ruin the routine!  The post doesn't get delivered or collected on Bank Holidays.  I also get paid on a Friday if the usual payment would have been on a bank holiday Monday (lack of payment was the reason I just realised it's not a BH!).  And the main problem...all of the people that should be out at work are at home, making noise, having fun, clogging up pavements, damn cheek!

Oh, just checked the to-do list...  I was also planning on buying something through topcashback on Monday, as they almost always give an extra £2 bonus on bank holidays!  I suspect it's not easy to send that offer to Scottish customers only, so wondering whether they'll offer it to everyone, or not offer it all, for this particular holiday.
