Brigante
The time has come to say goodbye to the focus. A true end of an era and the old war horse has served me well these last 3 years but she's getting old and with the amount of miles I can cover on a daily basis a 1.6 petrol just isn't enough anymore. So now with great pleasure I introduce Titan.. My new 2.2 litre Titanium X Sport. Top spec with privacy glass, built in sat nav, 18" alloys, twin exit exhaust, xenon headlights. The list goes goes on and on. Even though compared to the focus most of the mods have already been done for me as standard, I wont be keeping him standard for long. I've already fitted a de badged upper grill but by no means am I stopping there. Mods that will happen in the very near future are; Headlight brows Heko wind deflectors Sun strips Project stealth with will involve spraying most exterior trim black to match rest of the car Converting interior lighting to blue LED again Reverse parking camera Second boot light Up and coming mods would be to look at black eyeing the headlights, respraying the alloys in anthracite, stealthifying the interior interior by spraying everything black and relining the roof liner Then of course its a diesel so I plan to start carrying out performance mods and remapping the hell out of it.

Brigante
Work commitments and trying to strip the focus down has delayed modding the mondeo Managed to get a couple small ones out the way today.. Swapped the reverse lights for the cree's from the focus. Already had 2 reverse lights which saves a job I had to do on the focus And started converting the interior lighting to blue led Still need to wire in rear footwell lighting. You'll notice the driverside footwell isnt lit up either.. ford has put that bulb holder in a stupidly hard to reach place, especially if you have fat hands. I'll reattempt to fit it tomorrow. Also have headlight brows that i'll hopefully fit tomorrow as well as a reverse parking camera and 5" monitor that I'll be fitting as soon as i suss out the best place to fit the screen so it is out the way till required
Brigante
Headlight brows are on, temporarily fitted with sticky pads as they need colour coding when the weather gets better Yes or no?

Brigante
couple more diddy mods carried out as theres not really any big mods i can do right now with all the snow n frost on the poor car transferred over the dmb gel overlays from the focus to the mondeo's steering wheel n rear badge started swapping the vanity lights from the dingey yellow to a nice bright white led pad i also decided to butcher a hole in the blanking plate where the power button would of went on a lhd vehicle n fit a usb port doesnt look too ugly i dont think. one of the little features i loved on the focus was the storage in the top of the dash, i'd cut a hole in the bottom of that and installed the usb port there so that i could plug me satnav in n have all the wire tidied away in the storage pocket so that no wires are trailing down the dash around the dash into the garage door storage infront of the gear leaver its really annoyed me the mondeo lacking this storage on top of the dash, so as a compromise i fitted the usb in the blanking plate. it's easily reversed should it need to be. this way i can plug my satnav in as close to the top of the dash as possible n i intend to cut off the excess usb wire of the satnav and solder it back together to create a stubby wire so that it isnt long n trailing over the dash and simply only needs to be long enough to reach the usb

Brigante
....but...but...it's not an estate... :( Sent via carrier pigeon using Ford OC I did look at the estate version which does look like a right torpedo, but the hatch has a plenty big enough boot for me as it is and I can just about fit this beast in my parking space as it is. It makes the focus look right dinky
Brigante
Next small ish mod turned up today, heko wind deflectors Please excuse how dirty the poor car is, it snowed and has done nothing but rain since so haven't been able to get him valeted I also partially debadged the rear, I completely removed the mondeo letters as well as the tdci badge, but for now I have left the titan x. I am having trouble removing the rest of the adhesive though All of the adhesive from the mondeo letters and the tdci badge came off cleanly but the sticky stuff under the ium is refusing to come off. Can anyone advise on the best stuff to use? Been using wd40 but it isnt doing to good

Brigante
Managed to get the rest of the adhesive off. Decided to leave the TITAN on Took a few more photos just because it's a sexy car. Please excuse the dirt, been heavy rain most days and not been able to get him valeted. Wired in my new boot lights the other night Please excuse the amount of crap in the boot, working funny nightshift hours doesnt leave much time to tidy it. Also looking into getting the full size spare wheel kit I was in the process of starting to fit my reverse parking camera tonight but the heavy rain started again and I had to abort

Brigante
Had a successful ish night cracking out a couple of small mods I finally sussed out the correct way of wiring the rear footwell lighting into the main courtesy light so now they are fully up n running in sync with the rest of the interior lighting I swapped the puddle lights in the wing mirrors to a nice clean white led And I just about finally managed to swap one of the fog lights for a blue coated bulb Can see from the throw of the light on the ground that the result is a lot cleaner whiter light than the original Was a right faff getting to the 2 screws holding the fog housing in and some how even more of a faff trying to reinstall the fog housing once I'd swapped the bulb and I was getting fed up of trying to do it in the dark by torch light so I abandoned it for now and will hopefully do the driverside tomorrow

Sent from my iPad using Ford OC Nice one dude I really need to do some bigger mods, only problem is due to the spec most of it has already been done for me :( Still got me reverse camera I need to wire in And waiting for some decent weather so I can finally start stealthifying the exterior by spraying all the trims black
Brigante
Not got any photos but I fitted cree indicator bulbs to the rear They are completely fine with hazards on but when used indicating they flash mentally fast and cause all the other standard indicators to the front n sides to flash mental too how do i rectify this? resistors?
Brigante
Extended the boot lights right down the sides of the boot This just left the question of what to do with the old boot lights.. .. Oh I know.. Suppose you can never have too much blue led :P

Brigante
Next mod is finally out of the way.. Its taken a few days of faffing about in the dark and a lot of swearing but I finally have a reverse parking camera in the mondeo. Has really been doing my nut in not having one and will make reversing into a space so much easier so this is why its probably gonna be the most practical mod I'll do I'll take a photo of the actual camera tomorrow but this is what I've come up with for the monitor Didnt want an external monitor visible anywhere in the car and didnt fancy the idea of a clip on rear view mirror monitor either so tonight now all the wiring was finally in place I set about butchering the sunglasses holder with a junior hacksaw and a stanley kinfe This was the result I think it is pretty nifty and is discreetly hidden away until it is required and then I simply give it a gentle push and it rotates to reveal the screen The picture quality is quite good too considering this is the night vision Really pleased with it now it is finally complete and the monitor also has a second video input so something I may do in future is fit a front facing camera somewhere and run the video feed for that to it also Comments welcome
