Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

It would indeed! Sadly hitting 88mph doesn't work in the Focus...if only I had a Delorean....

In our old Focus you'd be lucky if a wheel didn't fall off above 70!

Too many mug-like receptacles in close proximity to each other??

We've had a mouthful of paraffin/seam sealer/methylated spirits/diesel instead of our tea/coffee when just reaching out to grab our morning drink, whilst in the garage

So have I :)

It's funny how certain bulb types fall into disuse: yet others continue to be popular. Bit like alkaline batteries, apart from the big Maglite torches, who uses 'D' types now - it wasn't that long ago, when nearly everything was powered with 'D' types

NATO still issue right angled torches and batons (basically a non-right angled torch with a plastic cone and coloured filter with D-cells...no prizes for guessing what the lads say the D stands for...

That's not one...it's a soft rubber tipped projectile fitted over the barrel of an SA80...

Oh my mistake, I was thinking one-dip was a cow related tester strip  Like our urine test strips, that you meant to test the milk/cow urine with and mistook your cup of tea for your sample  I wasn't thinking it was a biscuit!

There's Trans K9 dog box that might be suitable for Brandy up your way, seller's location is Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury is 20minutes down the road from me? We used to have urine sticks but now we use blood sugar monitors, it's a lot safer and less painful for the cow. And us lol,you have to stick the urine stick in a flap in the cows vajingo to make her go wee wee and it hurts her that much that she kicks you. Now we just take a blood sample and use a blood sugar strip.

I don't like that no one wants to lend me £20k..... I'd give them change!!!!http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201511168747600

Or preferably 23k for this Saw this car on Auto Trader’s Android App. Thought you might be interested. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201511118615480

Good to see the residuals holding up well

Whats a blind spot info system? Isn't that a convex mirror or turning your head?

Sensors in the rear bumper with an LED in your door mirror to tell you if something is in your blind spot.

Although frankly if you blindly change lane relying on a small LED in your mirror you shouldn't be driving imo.

Ah I see, clever idea then, don't think I'd like to rely on it though!

My opinion too! Even if I had parking sensors (for example), I'd still look around whilst parking!! The amount of people I see parking in new cars (w/ sensors) and looking straight forward (not backwards or even in the mirrors) whilst reverse parking is worrying.

Other half asking stupid questions then moaning when she gets a stupid answer.

Cyclists with no lights on, argh!

And if you had hit him then you'd be at fault! Just one of the reasons I can't stand cyclists (even though I used to be one).

It's even better when they ask a stupid question and then say you are wrong when you give the correct (and obvious) answer.

I don't like coming to the end of training and not knowing if I'll be able to do the job at the end of it...

Also, I don't like it being 8 days until pay-day. Fortunately I managed to reserve enough cash to fill the Nissan's fuel tank up at the start of this week (which will just get me back and forth to work until next Wednesday) but further to that I am now cleared out completely. It will literally be a week of working, eating and sleeping. On the plus side when my money does go in it will be spent on some things that'll make me happier than usual... And no, I don't mean alcohol and cigarettes (well, not only alcohol and cigarettes)!!

I don't like not seeing the patch of black ice and/or dark frost on the topmost step, on my way back from the compost bin  , I went for a surprise slide and a tumble down the steps

I almost damaged the compost receiving bucket by falling on it :o

Oh I don't get the, your wrong(she knows better than that lol) I get the whinge ' oh how am I supposed to know, blah blah blah'. But darling, it's on the instructions/recipe. 'whinge whinge whinge'. At which point I usually end up taking over because I'm soft

Mate, it could be worse!!

One of my fellow Instructors is married to a woman who really wasn't blessed with much - especially not brains...

Whilst chatting to a friend about an upcoming retinal scan, she asked "Why are they gonna stick a camera up yer bum to look at your eyes?"

My personal favourite...she was moaning to me and her hubby about the kettle at work taking forever to boil, unlike the one at home. Obviously, says she, the electricity in Immingham is better than the electricity in Cleethorpes. I may have asked her if that's because Immingham is closer to the power station :innocent:

You could see the cogs turning - until her hubby chipped in "FFS Woody - don't tell her that, she'll believe it!!"

"Err, actually, I was thinking about it - and it did make sense!" she says

She has a heart of gold though

Blonde is she?

A thing I really really don't like and has me totally astounded.

Watching the latest episode of Fast N'Loud and I've just spotted my first wife in the background.

God I hope they run her over! :p

Frozen handbrake cable , then late for work!

I was surprised how cold it was this morning:

Bear in mind I'm only about 10 miles from Bournemouth beach on the SOUTH coast, lol.

-7 in Surrey at 8:15 this morning! It's nice to have it not rain for a change.

I remember being in Magaluf in February 1996 & it snowed on the beach in the morning & was warm enough to sunbathe in the afternoon - weird :)

Wow, we had snow in Cyprus on New Years day and it was barely 5c. 2 days later it was 20! Weather is a fascinating thing.
