Things I Don't Like

Volvo had it long before anyone else, my 760 had it, and going back before then, in the early 1980's, my Dad's 264 had it too

I don't like getting inadvertently bitten when playing tug-of-war with Brandy

The side of my index finger was right were she clamped down on to secure her tug, I now have a small puncture wound

when playing tug-of-war with Brandy lol :)

Exactly what I just said, only my experience of having it was in our Volvo.

Not quite, in the Vauxhalls it checks all bulbs and specifies which has failed. On the Volvo it's only for brake lights and doesn't say which side afaik. :)

It that new on Vauxhalls? My Astra had few warning lights, bulb failure wasn't among them

All the bulbs!? Wow, that is high tech - especially for a Vauxhall... :o

Realising it's 11:42 and I'm hungry, need to be chilling out, not cooking :(

I don't like checking the weather forecast and seeing that it is below zero outside and the Nissan will probably be frozen solid.

Better get dressed and fire it up to defrost before we go... I love winter (not).

Who drives the Nissan?

Depends what you call new, my early 2006 Vectra had it (2 years older than the Focus!). Mates Astra had it too, around 2004/5.

I don't like finding out the bulb costs £8.99 because it's red...

Even on trade was still £4.50!! <_<

Shocking - i was selling 380 & 382 bulbs in the late 70's for 15p each trade . . . . :( they were clear though & not red

I've still got a stash of 472 H4 bulbs - must be worth a fortune now . . . . :)

I don't like dropping a one dip into my tea :cry::iim:

Using my Astra as a measure, and anything after than it is new, yeah, that's new.

So, Vauxhall were doing it after late Mk4 to early Mk5

That's steep :o

Too many mug-like receptacles in close proximity to each other??

We've had a mouthful of paraffin/seam sealer/methylated spirits/diesel instead of our tea/coffee when just reaching out to grab our morning drink, whilst in the garage

So have I :)

It's funny how certain bulb types fall into disuse: yet others continue to be popular. Bit like alkaline batteries, apart from the big Maglite torches, who uses 'D' types now - it wasn't that long ago, when nearly everything was powered with 'D' types

Use a shop window or park close up to a wall at night. Press the pedal and look for them all working. In fact any window will do even in the day time if you can see the reflection of the lights.

My ZTT used to tell me a bulb was out even which bulb, if the tail light blew it illuminated the brake light on that side at half power. So I still had rear tail lights unless the brake bulb also blew. Smart car really.

Crikey! Shame I wasn't around in the 70s for that lol. :(

Waiting for Vodafone to call me back about a mess up (for want of a better word) their end

I don't like not knowing when I'm going to have a moment to get back into rugby...it's 1706 right now and I'm mid way through doing some work, I've been working since 0730 (it's not a poor me message), but I can't see me ending until about half 7 tonight, then dinner etc, if this was a Tues or Thurs training night, id never have the time *glum face*

My mother. After only one informal lesson I'm not quite at the stage of driving to work yet

I would have thought it's one of those things, that if you were back doing rugby, you'd schedule your day around it. So, on Tues/Thur, it wouldn't be a problem to fit your training in. Whereas when you're not going at the moment, it's of little consequence when you finish and you're wondering how you'd squeeze training in.

This is where time travel would be useful

Ohhh no this was a normal cup of tea, just my Rich tea biscuit aka One-dip broke and went plooop!. Wouldn't of minded if it was a naff drink but it was nice. Don't think I've mistaken anything for a drink before. Yet anyway. If the light bulbs are any consolation.... I brought a £2 halfrauds light for 27p on Trade card and that was 2 years ago. Robbing so and so's

Oh my mistake, I was thinking one-dip was a cow related tester strip  Like our urine test strips, that you meant to test the milk/cow urine with and mistook your cup of tea for your sample  I wasn't thinking it was a biscuit!

There's Trans K9 dog box that might be suitable for Brandy up your way, seller's location is Shrewsbury

This is where time travel would be useful

It would indeed! Sadly hitting 88mph doesn't work in the Focus...if only I had a Delorean....
