That's got hurt too :o

Only for a few minutes - cursing like, well, a sailor helped lol

And the relief of pressure that followed also helped!!

I felt even more stupid when I realised I could turn the offending piece of wood upside down and clamp the drill bit in a vice. Yeah, that worked lol

I dont like waking up stupidly early on my days off!

Yeah, I did that this morning - but then remembered how much wine I'd drank and went back to sleep!

I don't like 11 days to pay day and just having enough money for petrol (and nothing else).

Oh, and I absolutely hate the fact that it is -2*C outside (which is bugger all in terms of "real" cold) and the storage heaters can barely keep the room warm! Talk about no insulation, plus storage heaters being pathetic in terms of giving off heat even on full input.

Why these old 60s houses haven't been upgraded to gas yet is beyond me.

i don't like people that take a week to turn at a junction like theirs a tank around the corner waiting for them.

Don't no if this has been mention before :)

Pigs ears are an occasional treat.

They also have deer antlers to chew on (but not from pet shops as they charge way too much).

I've not seen antlers here, I'll have to look out for those.

Brandy has had deer feet, another long chew, in terms of time

That almost seems to be the unwritten rule of days off. When it doesn't matter: you wake a good two hours before your normal waking time

You can't run one of those small propane infra red heaters in the house, that heat objects rather than the air. Like the ones smart repairers use to dry localised paint jobs

I also don't like the fact that despite being 20 years old I still look about 12 in photos.

Grow a moustache, always works.

You might be surprised how much facial hair and 'the right pair' of specs make a difference. I found I always used to look young and hated it, I went for frame less smaller specs and just joined movember

Found the combination meant I looked older lol

Hmm... Good idea, although I'm not a fan of facial hair or glasses. It doesn't bother me that much - I don't have to see myself unless I look in the mirror

I had it the other way round when I was younger: now I have it the same as you, looking far younger than I am

Up until my mid-20's I always looked a good 10-15 years older.:lol::lol:

An hilarious event occurred when I was 12, which illustrates how old I actually looked.

It so happened, I had my left lower leg and foot in plaster following a falling out of a tree incident. It was summer and the family were going to the beach. Due to there be very few parking places, my Dad dropped me off, right by the walkway to the beach, whilst he and the rest family went to park further away. I was supposed to meet up with them. After a good half an hour, they didn't show, I assumed they'd gone to the next beach along, so began limping along to it, it was about ½ mile.

Apparently, it took longer to find a parking place than they'd thought, when they did turn up: I wasn't there. They began asking the various beach hut dwellers and sunbathers, if they'd seen a 12 year old boy with a plastercast on and walking aided by a crutch. No-one had seen a 12 year old boy: everyone said the only person who'd gone by with a plastered leg and crutch was a man of about 25, maybe older.

Descriptions were phoned through to the beach officers at the two adjacent beaches: I was found and conveyed back to my parents. All the time the beach officer commenting, I looked more like his brothers age (26) than my own.

My older appearance than I actually am continued until I'd reached my 30's: since then it's started to go in reverse, quite comically. I've almost got to the stage when I need to show ID, to prove I'm the age I am. Everyone, I encounter now thinks I'm in my mid 30's

You too, it's like people who put toilet rolls on back to front, it's quite unnerving

Toilet roll is much easier to grab when it hangs down the front....who are these people fitting it so it hangs against the wall!?:lol:

Haha, the tyres are quite chunky so it shouldn't be damaged. Gave me a chance to clean the inside. :P

Oh, is that yours then Chris?

I thought it was just a car you'd photographed passing by, so to speak

Lol, yeah at least they're flat faced with balloon tyres I suppose! Could've propped it between the wall and floor at 45 degrees though, can clean the inside with no chance of scuffing the outside then. :D

Against the wall also ensures any wall germs and fluff are transferred to the loo roll
