Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

Things I don't like, in fact absolutely despise. Grassers!!! I was brought up that no one likes a grass. What happens to me, I get grassed on. Wouldn't mind If it was something serious, not petty. More annoying though is the fact, That said grasser moans to me no end about work etc and doesn't do the job properly, do I say anything no.

A thing I really really don't like and has me totally astounded.

Watching the latest episode of Fast N'Loud and I've just spotted my first wife in the background.

God I hope they run her over! :p

Ha ha. How has she ended up in Texas? I wish i was rather than being stuck here in the cold!

I dont like that im trying to have my daily siesta on the settee with our blind cat on my lap and there are multiple intruder alarms going off outside due to a very short power cut keeping me awake! The cat is fast asleep as she is deaf too!

A blind and a deaf cat.... Is it mute too?

I wish, she is the most vocal cat ive heard! We never hear a thing from our other cat.

She only went deaf about 6 months ago and blind on Sunday. She is 23 years old though so we are glad to still have her. Its amazing how quickly she has adapted, visitors wouldn't know she is blind.

Animals are so much quicker to adapt to their disabilities than humans :)

They were in Pontiac, Michigan and she's from Saginaw, Michigan.

Aww, well fair enough, 23 years is phenomenal!

Probably because animals are like "S**t, adapt or die"

Whereas we're still chasing a lawsuit, moaning about the NHS or about how hard done by we are with the govt etc... Take a leaf out of animals books I say.. Or even look at the soldiers! Yeh they get some care and money thrown at their injuries, but they don't half just get on with things!

Did you live over there for a spell too then? Ive always liked the idea of moving to America.

Frozen handbrake cable , then late for work!

I've never had that happen, even in the winter of 2010 when we had -5*C. I'd get the linkages and cable lubricated to prevent it happening again.

23 Years old is a fine age for a cat, ours is 11 so having her for another 12 years would be brilliant.

That's probably because they are less selfish and don't think "oh poor me!" but just get on with it!

new one on me :)

Spent 3 years there working for a PMC company.

I've just embarked on putting together a cheesy courgette pasta bake for tea: only to discover, I have no cheese :(

Looking at the fridge, or rather in the fridge, cheesy courgette pasta bake is going to have to become either fishy courgette pasta bake with sardines and haddock or just courgette pasta bake....decisions, decisions

My grandma in hospital after breaking her hip. :( Apparently she stood on a stool getting something out of a cupboard, went to get down, trod on a cat and went flying! She was on the floor for an hour as my Grandpa was out doing Archery...

Silly woman! Of course my mum is worried which in turn makes her unwell...lots of fun...

I'm sorry to hear that Chris, I hope she recovers as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Best wishes and a speedy recovery.

Best wishes from me too Chris

Realising I'm out of parking permits and won't be able to get some until tomorrow midday because of the council don't possess the ability to do same day transactions...

Thanks guys. She's having a new hip today. She hates being in hospital and is complaining the tea is awful.

that's not good Chris:sad:

hope she recovers and gets better soon:smile:

I'm forever stopping my Mum using stools and unsuitable furniture to reach high cupboard, just because she's been doing it all her life, it doesn't make it wise:huh:

I don't like Nissan not being capable of adding a "Low Washer Fluid" warning light to their 2005 Primera model and consequently running out unexpectedly.

WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR MANUFACTURERS TO FIT SUCH A WARNING!?  GRR!

I hope she's doing OK now, presumably she has already had the op?

Top it up every few days in the winter months & you shouldn't run dry

I don't have time though.  Yes my mother could do it, but that would involve her opening the bonnet and I'm not sure I trust her to do that...

After my salary goes in I'll buy a couple of 5L bottles of the "good stuff" (strong concentrated screen wash I use neat) and fill it full, which should last a few weeks at least.  Last time I only had a small bottle so didn't fill it to capacity.
