Has anyone else been unable to cancel an Amazon order this week?  Been trying for three days now.  Just comes up with a message saying 'there's been an error, try again later'.  Tried on Edge on laptop, Chrome on mobile and the proper mobile app...same thing happens on each.

Just had an email saying the delivery time cannot be met (today), but it still won't let me cancel it.

It's only 95p so not a financial worry, but I just don't understand why it won't let me cancel it?

@TomsFocus Have you tried using the live chat to contact support? I can't remember how to get through to the damn thing off the top of my head but it might be the only way  to check it's not an individual account issue or something at Amazon's end.

No, I haven't.  Not worth the hassle for the sake of 95p tbh.  Appreciate the suggestion though.

Tom, really? You're spending 95p on a company that finances the vanity space project of it's owner?? LOL Just make up a damaged delivery note on it, and get a full refund!

Lol, not quite.  I'm spending 95p on keeping my own stress levels down.

Using the daughters 68 plate Corsa for my work commute today and tomorrow as the Mrs requires our car.

No keyless entry.

No keyless start.

Took me a good 5 mins to faff around trying to get the key into the ignition once I'd realised my front door key wouldnt work and a further few minutes finding how the blade came out.

No auto hold and almost rolled back into the car behind at traffic lights 🙈

On the plus side it has a heated steering wheel .....yay.

Daft as it sounds I go through a similar routine swapping between our cars. When I drive the Mrs's I try and press the non existent starter button on the dashboard before I remember that one starts with a key. Then I get back in mine and try and put the non existent key blade in the non existent ignition  slot!😀

Sure that's heated steering wheel? Vauxhall's are known for catching fire. 🤣🤣

As I've mentioned on here before we went from a Qashqai (auto handbrake) to an EcoSport (manual handbrake) and for quite a while I was driving with the handbrake on and when I did remember to release it I would often then not apply it when parking! Hopefully grown out of that habit now 🤞😀

Just done this...turned out to be much less hassle than expected.  Not sure how you're meant to access it, I just Googled 'Amazon Contact'.

Spent the first minute or so messaging a bot who also couldn't cancel the item.

Then it put me through to a person who cancelled it within literally 20 seconds! 

No idea why it wouldn't work for me or the bot.

Yes. Heated steering wheel and heated seats/windows.

It cleared the frost this morning way quicker than our Focus.

Probably shouldn't say this on here but I quite like the new Corsa (Peugeot 208 in drag though it is.)

Shame the choice of engines is so limited - maximum 100ps petrol though the EV is 134 I believe.

There's a few work colleagues that have the new shape Corsa and don't have a bad word for them as if yet.

We bought the daughter hers ( not new shape) for graduating at uni after her previous one decided to fry the ECU and she needs a car for her work as a community nurse.

The car was washed yesterday so today I'll be getting it up on axle stands to sort this once and for all.

Tonight, seriously thinking, i do not like the fact that people in Ucraine have no food,home and safety due to the war against them from Russia...

They used to have their houses,their cars, their friends, families...their own life...and now most of them have nothing ..not even water to drink...

I hate everyone that thinks that can conquer a nation with no particular reasons...I think that this war is not going to stop or be restricted only in Ucraine...the world might never be the same again as we know it from now on....

Was out tonight and saw an unmarked police car going in the opposite direction, little blue lights and siren going, and no kidding it must have been doing 120mph on the b road I was on. Was a straight section though. Then a few seconds later another 2 went flying past. Another 1/2 mile later another 2 then a stickered up " major incident " car went past at simular speed followed by 3 or 4 marked police cars. 

I wondered where they were going tonight in our sleepy market town. We guessed it may have been an incident at our local maximum security prison. Not heard anything on social media yet.

I was asked if I would lie down by my partner. Charming!! 

 

I then said choose your weapon in the pub!! 

 

Don't like that I had to take my partner to a&e as she in lots of pain. Dropped her off at 12 30pm. I'm obviously not allowed in to wait with her which is understandable. Got seen at 6pm, then 7.30pm given morphine. Now waiting for a bed as she been told she needs to stay. Still sat at a&e waiting room. 9 hrs sat watching other sick people. I've driven back over and dropped an overnight bag at the entrance. New security guard was just starting his shift and was putting on his stab vest ready for the sat night fun. Hope my partner is wheeled away soon to her ward and bed.

Very sorry to hear that, Ian. I've spent many hours with people in A&E over the years so know how frustrating and distressing it can be.

Hope all goes well in the end.

She can't be that sick, she having a right moan about a&e via WhatsApp. I just want to go to sleep now. She will no doubt be a bad patient to deal with (she been a nurse, queen's nurse,hospice manager etc etc.  various capacities for nearly 40 years!)

Glad to hear it Ian. I know what you mean, though - I've been waiting in there for 24 hours plus both as a patient and as a relative/friend - in the end all you want is a kip!😀

I hate my cars 'Hill Assist' - I know I can turn it off but I leave it on as a back up, however there is a second delay from me applying power and the hill assist unlocking the car for me to move! It doesnt sit well with me especially that where I live is predominately flat ground so it rarely happens. So to sit there applying the normal clutch and go but the car sitting there for a second has me thinking whats wrong?
