yunii
So that's how you hatchback chaps have two reverse and two foglights! Clever! My conversion was similar, except i had to run fresh cable (both sides) to the bumper area, as the estate version has no lights in the rear bumper. I bought a left hand drive main rear light, plus a left hand drive reverse light to carry out my conversion. So my fogs are roughly half way up the car, housed in the lower sections of the main rear light clusters, the reverse lights, in the same position as you chaps... How did you manage to fit st rear bumper? However it looks Awesome. Yunii Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app

vince_13
just to clear up and confusion, the plug on the right in the image below is what most people doing this mod will need, as the part on the left in the image already comes with a new LHD clear lens with regards to polarity issues etc the pins are number 1 & 2 so a simple volt meter check will verify which pin is positive IIRC pin1 is positive
yunii
Bear in mind they are hard to find in breakers & charge £15 + for one. Yunii Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app

troy45
I've still got some spares of the 2-pin connector too if anyone doesn't fancy hunting a used one down or buying the new bits from RS-Online One of the uprated CREE type bulbs which Lenny recommended http://www.alltronix.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=517 landed today and I fitted it in one side to compare to the earlier CREE's suggested at the start of this thread. Can see the new bulb (rhs) lights up more of the lamp, will see if it's brighter once it goes dark.
Dee_82
Cheers Lenny, another good guide another mod done! :D I even used the second wire of the twin I ran across the boot trim for the second reverse light to return a second Fog light feed, which is now all wired up an ready to go... as soon as I can find another lamp to massacre with a good bulb holder that is! whilst in the wiring mood I ran a few feeds from the brake, reverse and boot lights in case that ford badge light and some boot/glove box SMDs I ordered a few weeks ago ever turn up . In the mean time ive got a top mount to swap out, gearbox fluid to change and a DPF to remove, happy day! :D ive got a pic of the difference between the normal reverse bulb and the cree and its night an day of a difference, its not letting me post just now but the Cree Lenny mentions is good value and so far without any issues.
