Hyrule
So had my Sea Grey 2008 Focus for 4 weeks now, and absolutely love it. Wanted to start with simple mods due to buying the car outright at £4.4k, (broke) lol. Here's the car when I brought it home the first day: Stock model with rear privacy glass, the previous owner added Tints to the front two windows as well, but getting those removed at the end of this month. Went for blue interior theme so started with the front footwells. Already wired so just Blue leds to pop in: Front and Rear Courtesy/Map Lights Alluminium Pedals Horrible and plain as standard And after And just a few pics more pics showing off the lights :D : I've done other little things like change the sidelights, get dust caps for the air valves on the tyres as some were missing, and going to get some wheel locking nuts to replace the missing ones. Next on the list for payday this month is: Blue ignition barrel Rear LHD fog light (might do the reverse light at the same time though not confident doing the wiring) LED pads for glove box and boot Custom Heater Controls Removing the centre trim and painting it Moondust silver (not a fan of carbon wrapping) Mist washer jets (will colour code) Touch up the odd scrapes with Official Sea Grey spray can Cheers for looking and comments/suggestions most welcome B) B

Hyrule
So some more goodies turned up on Friday, just before the postal strike Excuse the knee but it was nearly 30degrees on saturday and perfect to do a few mods in the sun B) REAR FOG CONVERSION: So ridiculously simple to do :) Just don't be a wally like me and forget to order a red bulb. Cree one ordered as soon as it dawned on me :P Nice and symmetrical ^_^ BOOT & GLOVE LED: The boot was fairly simple, but the glove box, boy oh boy what a palava. There are 7 screws in total, with 3 screws hidden under rubber grommets at the base of the glove box which need removing before the whole unit will come out. Took me awhile to find those Also this T10 W5W adapter supplied with the LED pad was very fiddly and in the end just didn't work. I also ended up blowing my interior light fuse as at one point I forgot to unplug the power for the glove box light when fitting the LED pad. Quick trip to Halfrauds to fix that. But waiting on a new adapter to complete the glove box. BOOT LED PAD: Looks great I think, can only imagine how bright it would be with two fitted. But much better than the pathetic stock light. Hopefully should be more goodies in the post today ;) More to come :D

Hyrule
Where did you get your blue led pads from bud been trying to find them for my boot I bought them from a UK seller and they arrived next day, he was selling 2 pads for about £2.50, i looked at his listing today, he is now selling them for £52 LOL like wtf. Anyway look at my signature all my mods I've put links to them on eBay. You may have to get them from Hong Kong if you cant find a UK seller at a reasonable price. Also might want to invest in some T10 W5W adapters in case you get some fiddly/dud ones like I did. Enjoy

I'd have taken a pic but had the popo behind me ;) should probably clarify that its a Fiesta St that im getting, incase your enthusiasm was for the Focus ST. Focus a bit big for my needs atm. Due to be collecting it from the dealer towards the start of August so fingers crossed. Getting it is Frozen White, ST-2 Style Pack with the half red interior!! Cannot wait!! Lots of mods planned!!

Those are the ones I put in my footwells, literally popped in without issue. For the Rear reg plate, they already had some T10/W5W leds, which look like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-SUPER-BRIGHT-CANBUS-LED-BULB-501-W5W-T10-REAR-NUMBER-LICENSE-NO-PLATE-LIGHT-/270989557184?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f183c7dc0 As they fit in horizontally you want as much light facing downwards. Might be different on your fiesta though

b4zz
looking good dude. I want to do the clear rear fog for mine but got other things planed at the mo
gforce
Looking good so far pal, and a nice wishlist you have there. As for the bootlight, strongly recommend the second one! I got mine in white and have posted the pic below on the guide thread along with another few snaps. Dead easy job to do and given the low cost and massive upgrade, one of my most satisfying mods I reckon. http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/27165-guide-to-fitting-additional-boot-light-in-ford-focus-mk2-and-mk25/page-5 As for the seller bumping up the price...that's just a case of them putting up a long listing and then amending the price when they sell out to put people off ordering, saves a few pence on having to end listings and re-list items apparently. Plus, if someone is daft enough to pay £52 for a couple of LEDs then they're quids in!
Hyrule
So finally got round to fitting the glove box LED pad again, decent T10 w5w adapter this time. And Red Cree bulb in the clear lens conversion. Amazing how bright these bulbs are. Waiting on 2nd ignition ring and AC/Heater control knobs but in the meantime took the opportunity to give the Focus a clean and polish: More to come soon ;)

I like the idea of not having to splice into wires and it just being plug and play with the existing ford looms!!

Hyrule
Love it when packages arrive in the post, glad to be working from home today: Swapped my sidelights for these LEDs: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-Bright-Xenon-White-Sidelight-LED-Bulbs-Replacement-501-W5W-T10-Canbus-Car-/280823193038?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41625dddce, and managed to break the housing on one, so need to see if I can find a replacement on eBay. That's all the mods for this month. More next month ;)
