I had tescos own mint shower gel, that was an experiance also!!!

Unless you have two shower gels, your not going to be clean otherwise...

Talking of mint based things which sting, my ex-business partner used to spray mint breath freshener directly into his eyes  whenever he felt sleepy whilst driving :o

He used to claim, once you got over the 30 seconds of "my eyes are on fire" and "I've gone blind!", all tiredness was banished for a couple of hours!

Anybody else like that Original Source Mint & Tea Tree stuff?

First time I used that, I knew about it!!

I was a little err...over-zealous when washing (no...not THAT vigorous!!) with it and umm...it went erm...deeper than originally intended...

That's quite refreshing, providing of course, you remember to keep your orifices shut when lathering.

The orange and something (sandalwood?) is equally as good, but without the internal surprise sting

Mint breathe freshener in the eyes... I prefer menthol, lightly touch a 4head or alternative roll on headache relief then gently rub the eyelid

once I cut some peppers up wash my hands about half hour later rubbed my eyes and flipping hell did it sting

I don't like the fact my mother (albeit with 25+ years driving) could insure a V8 Jaguar for £300 per year and I'm almost £1,000 for a 1.25 Fiesta!!

Things that don't add up...

Such as this ad and then this ad...

Hmm!

What a surprise, seems like he's having trouble selling it...

That's what you get for trying to make a quick buck!

I don't like it's now raining, quite hard too, just as I and the dog are going for the evening stroll :o

I hope he wasn't actually driving during the "I've gone blind!" sensation!? :o

No, or at least, when I saw him do it, we were at the post coffee/tea and snacks stage: but before the filling up with fuel stage, at the services.

He claimed he learned the technique during his time in the medical corp

Well, each to their own... I'd rather just buy an energy drink personally!

I find the sports drinks better than caffeine

The advantages of max' N.C.B. & age are many & various . . . :)

It does start going up again even with full NCB when you get to a certain age (70 maybe?).

Was dissapointed mine went up last year with 6 years NCB! Only paid £300 odd for the Vectra in 2013, went up to £400 odd for the slower Focus in 2014. <_<

Will have 7 years NCB in March, hope it doesn't go up again. :(

I only paid £344 for my ST....

After cashback, it's only actually cost me £281.50...

I was quite shocked how reasonable it was to be honest, the joy of being over 25 :D

Insurance premiums are so variable & dependent on so many different factors it's impossible to compare, but generally the more N.C.B. one has accrued, the cheaper the premium will be.

Over 25 seems to be a favourable age . . :)

I've seen reports of at least 5 under 25 males killed this year already in car '' accidents '' :(

What annoys me is that at renewal, the premium often increases for no apparent reason, & when queried, a quick chat with the '' manager '' results in a lower or equal quote to one's existing price !

Miraculous :)

I like to call that the "try it on" fee. :)

Yep . . so fook off & try it on elsewhere is my considered reply to them :)

Daft thing is, I would pay less for a newer, more powerful car! I guess there are a lot of mk2.5 Focii crashed due to the amount on the road or something.

I'll be 24 next month, so only a year to go for cheap insurance then.

Probably where they were hit by old people...

Honestly, I see far more 'accidents' caused by elderly drivers than young ones. Just yesterday I watched an old man turn into a space with no indication knocking over another man that was just walking across the car park. That was shortly after trying to join a 70mph dually behind a Micra full of old people doing 35 (who had already caused a domino of brake lights by taking the left only lane and cutting across straight ahead)...how they feel safe joining traffic at half speed I really don't know, definitely doesnt make me feel safe! <_<

Also watched an elderly couple in a single car accident where they crashed into the central reservation of the A12 on a warm, dry day a few months back... I don't know how they manage it!

I'm not defending young drivers, as I'm sure there are some idiots about, I just never seem to see them but they still get the worst rep. :(

I know this is a don't like thread, but I definitely get a laugh catching up on everyones stories...

Especially the deep heat... I feel that one!

Playing rugby every weekend in the past lead to a high deep heat usage... It was one of those things that you rub onto a shoulder or your calf or something and all is well... any residue you tend to just rub onto the nearest thing, your shorts, shirt or whatever... then you forget about it for a moment and go have a pre game widdle.... and all hell breaks loose!

Much more desirable car ;-)
