Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

My Astra buyer still hasn't turned up, nor phoned nor texted. Yet when I last spoke to him, he was definitely picking it up this weekend

I wonder if he's got Vauxhall remorse

His Zafira cooked him en - route . . . . . :(

Can't you phone from work during your breaks, or is phoning other energy companies tantamount to treason?

No, I could call on my breaks - but I don't make "business" calls out of the house as I can't think clearly or write things down etc... I like to be at my desk on the landline when I make calls to companies.

Can't say I blame him!

Yet again my back is kaput.. trapped nerve is a killer for almost a week now...if still no good Monday what then..I know the doc can't fix it and I don't want a tub of painkillers either....

As nice back rub by two "tanned, busty, brunette's" might just make things bearable....:)

It doesn't make a great deal of sense just coming down from London for an old Astra, unless he's visiting his Dad (my mate) and his brother anyway.

Those are quite painful, it was waiting game, aside from the painkillers, you just have to sit it out. I had one of those a few years ago, after moving literally a ton of melons about in the garage. Somehow, managed to trap nerve in my back :(

I couldn't work for close to 3 weeks, nor really do anything. I hope yours gets better quicker :)

In which case, could you call/text his Dad to see what is going on?

I have done, he's still too far over the limit (as they all are), from last night's family drinking session, to drive today

Oh well, that's that mystery solved!

I don't like myopic, ameobic, vacuous trolls whose lives must so depleted of interest that their infantile idea of fun is spouting inane tripe on this otherwise very good & informative forum.

Why can't these oxygen thieves be aborted before birth ?

Sorry Mark, my bad.

Probably because their parents were just as idiotic as they are.

Unfortunately some of us have jobs were we have to speak with said idiots on an almost daily basis.

That's a very diplomatic way of describing them.

What's supposedly wrong with your posts Wes?

Until that one, can't say I'd seen any trolling on here. On some forums the trolls outnumber the regulars

I seem to have missed whichever thread this refers to unless it's the special case who crashed because someone was too slow...

As for wes I was going to send you a cookie lol. Keep it up [emoji14]

As for things I don't like. Newborn screaming. Our little one is 13 days and screams so much it kills me. He seems to have colic or PURPLE syndrome, when all he does is scream and you can't settle him no matter what...

I've burnt my mouth again with jacket potato, or rather the steaming hot potato flesh contained therein :(

Although, it makes a change to burn the right cheek side: rather than the usual palate

You should start putting £1 in a jar every time you burn your mouth, then you could go on holiday with the savings in a few months

In all seriousness though, hot potato burns are some of the worst, especially jacket potatoes which are of course contained within the skin and even hotter.

Im still trying to figure that out myself!

I don't like that I tried to join Vodafone over a YEAR ago and had to cancel after they couldn't even deliver me a working SIM - I have for the last 12 months received bill reminders for £0.00 despite my account never being activated due to their incompetence and asking for the account to be closed.

Over the weekend I receive a bill reminder for £2.50! WTH!

I believe those are like filling your mouth with molten steel, my A&E nurse mate has treated one or two would be consumers of those

One of our sub-contractors, has never actually been charged for his electricity and gas, for getting on close to eighteen years. All the providers deny his house, is anything to do with them, despite him contacting eon, british gas, SSE and n-power and all others numerous times; ever since he bought the house

Each time, they tell him, he must be with a different company as they have no record of his house or any account on that address. :o

The previous owner apparently didn't have this problem, he had regular invoices.

Every month he estimates what he used and puts it aside, in a high interest saving account, as he's done for the last 18 years: he is yet to receive an invoice or a demand for 18 years worth gas and electric.

It's not as if it was a new build, his house was built in the 1930's. It's all quite strange
