There's loads that can affect it, but I definitely wish I could pay that little for a '17 ST! 😃 TPFT? What’s that 🤣. Country-ish, however in between two high risks locations, just down the road from a major connecting road, 8 miles from a motorway, 10 miles from the nearest city and 11 miles from a busy airport. Plus most insurance companies believe that Northern Ireland is living in the past, however I’m insured with AXA NI. Yeah, it’s great to be honest, I came from a group 18 Ibiza to the group 30 Fiesta, and I saved £50 a year. Not 100% how it worked out, but I’m certainly not complaining 🤣. I think the factory fitted Thatcham might have a bit to do with it.

Frembrit
42 2011 Mondeo Titanium X Sport 2.2 Diesel hatchback. Declared uprated brakes and winter tyres. Admiral - £246 fully comp with legal and protected NCB, not had a claim since 1997. Own a motorbike too for the last 10 years, no claims on that either. (£100 for that with mods and that thing goes a lot faster) Prices for the car has changed a bit since I first bought it 5 years ago. Was £220 fully comp then and gradually went up to £350 last year. Done a quote for a 2017 Focus RS the other week and that was £320 🙂 hmmmm

dansallis
Got my latest renewal through: Admiral £947 (up £120 from the previous year). After looking on some comparison website (and other insurers not on comparison websites) I will be going with Esure at £720. I am aware Esure's customer service can be worse than non-existent, but it saves me over £200!

alexp999
Just renewed at £448 with Aviva. That includes legal cover & NCD protection. Admiral initially comes out cheaper on comparison sites, but they don't include factory fit options, so by the time you add all those, it's more expensive. Couldn't beat Aviva renewal quote, once I factor in factory options and the ability to choose my own repairer.

What about Adrian Flux with the club discount?
Connall
Renewed a 15 plate 1L kia picanto in September for 640, that was admiral with 1 year experience and 1 year named driver no claims. Bought a black edition zetec s 140 at start of month and admiral charged 140 for the change of car to existing policy, + business insurance so 65 plate black edition fiesta zetec s 140 800 year + business insurance 18 years old, 1 year experience + named driver no claims
zain611
@Connall that's really good considering your age and NC. I'm paying £960 with admiral for my mk6 fiesta zetec s 1.6 TDCi with 3 years no claims in London and I'm 21 now. Its getting cheaper thankfully but hate how much more it is in London. Connall
@zain611 Yeah I know. I pay it annually so that probably takes about 100 off the price but I think it will go up when renewal time comes, down to the fact that it may only have been this cheap because I already had a policy with them. Should add the £140 extra also included a £20 admin fee. Saw someone mention that if they moved outside London they could be $=£500 a year cheaper with insurance so that could be your blowing factor
NeilScott
Age 60. 10 years NCD. Fully comp. Churchill. £358 premium for Fiesta ST3 at renewal in November. Recently added MP215 upgrade and got charged extra £17 for that, but excess went up by £200! Thinking of looking at one of the specialist insurers, though my premium isn't too bad looking at some others!

But we got the documents through the following day.

TimST2
So this year's insurance is £325 for the ST on our Admiral multi car policy. Adrian Flux couldn't come close, even with the FOC discount. Interestingly though, I have just insured my Caterham with them as they'll cover it on track and came out the cheapest quote by far.
