GMX
Do you give your dog chicken bones ? Yes, she is fed raw meat and bone, offal with the occasional oily fish - when we can get it. She has two chicken carcases a day plus recreational bones and the odd pig ear or stinky stick (dried tripe).
MONDEO TXS 2.2
Oh . . . I was under the impression from veterinary advice that chicken bones can splinter when the dog chews them & have grim effects ? We never give our dog chicken bones as a result of this advice
GMX
Yes, your vet is right but that's cooked chicken and for that matter cooked lamb bones. Raw chicken bones are quite robust and don't splinter My dog has been on raw food, for 13 years now. We are fortunate to have one of the few shops specialising in raw food, just 10 minutes, up the road http://www.nurturingbynature.co.uk/

GMX
2 chicken carcasses... Wtf have you got? A bear? No, not whole carcases The carcase after the legs, wings, breast etc, have been removed by the commercial butcher/chicken processor. Each carcase weighs about 225-250g. They looks like this http://www.nurturingbynature.co.uk/Chicken_Carcass_p/carcx40.htm

GMX
Recently returned from the dentist, for part 2 of the nut related broken teeth and dropped out fillings - I now have a fully restored mouth :) The dog went for a very soggy walk with my friend, whilst I was being drilled and filled Noticeably, a rain soaked dog doesn't exude the same aroma as playing in the park in rain <_<

I parked behind a Mk1 Zetec and alongside Mk3 Titanium, when I returned a Mk6 Fiesta Zetec had parked alongside the Mk1
Ianb
Great looking dog, but not as I had imagined Scottish terrier, she's 10. Lovely little beast, she's 13-14kgs and really every item (lifejacket, coat Etc) is medium sized, so she just has little legs... Haha, loves to bark at anyone near the vehicle...

Yours is not that much lighter than mine, she's medium sized too: so, my dogs longer legs must weigh 3Kg
Ianb
Haha, people are always surprised by her, someone gave her a funny look as she was sitting in the van the other day at the builders merchants as if to say "huah, look at that dog", the window was down and she gave him a hell of a growl I think he was suddenly quite impressed. People have said they'd **** themselves if they heard her growl in the dark as they'd think there was a big dog attached to it... But just little ol' "butter wouldn't melt in her mouth" dog... jmurray01
My doggy :) I do like dogs, not sure about owning one though! I prefer cats, they look after themselves and you don't need to take them outside in rain storms (like we're having now).

chrisroberson99
Cat mad here too. :) I have three here in the UK. Tango, ginger & white tom, 8 and a half now! Had him since a kitten. Lily, completely white but a normal mog, not a pedigree. She's about 7 and we've had her 5 and a half years. Got her from the RSPCA. Pumpkin, 6 month old ginger kitten tom, got him from Cats Protection. He loves our cats but Lily hates him! Tango gets on with him though. Then 2 in Cyprus, Pudding a ginger tom and his sister Meow. She's completely ginger and quite longhaired, unusual! :)

Buttons (pictured above) is 11 years old now, although she still looks quite young due to her small size. The grey hairs are the only signs of her advancing years.
