The engineers have been playing...the AC is set far too warm!!

For the last couple of months, it's been a pleasant 17-20 degrees inside the accommodation.

Today, it's suddenly 26-28!!

I'm sorry if there are any on here but today I am not a fan of...............BUS DRIVERS.

My normal commute to work this morning was going well until I approached a bus stopped picking up passengers, I made my intentions clear and started my maneuver to pass, this guy decided to either not look or chose to ignore what I was doing and just drove off. This bus was definitely not signalling to pull out before I started to come past, I am quite a courteous driver and always give way to buses but I have to say, this has happened to me more than once recently.

I am not tarring all with the same brush so I will continue to be courteous, it's just a bit annoying :unsure::unsure::unsure:

It is courtesy to give way to buses but they could at least meet us half way and use their indicators.

I dislike the tendency for buses to swing around a corner and expect you to get out of their way when they overlap 3 feet into your lane.

Nothing worse than getting barged out of the way in your own lane.

Not that I've ever experienced it, but, picking up the soap in prison showers might be worse...

I don't like making an appointment for someone to come and collect a freebie bit of furniture and they don't turn up...

Rude. I get a lot of free stuff from Freecycle and Trash Nothing (the joys of being poor) and always make sure to NEVER let the person down. Same goes when I'm paying for something, but especially when it is free.

The increasing wind, is blowing an increasing amount packing materials and insulation off-cuts, from the building site opposite into my drive. I could insulate the shed with what's come across this afternoon.

This happens too, when someone's asked you for buy it now price, on your collection only eBay auction, saying they'll collect for cash today. Having ended the auction, you never hear from them again.

Well they texted me via messenger a few hours after the time I'd arranged and were surprised I'd given the item to someone else (who turned up within 30 mind of asking)

You don't need licences? That's interesting actually. It is a bit of a shame, it always seems to be the legal owners that get their balls squeezed in a vice... The crims are the ones still running round with illegally owned weapons and those that are not allowed in the UK full stop.

I don't like that my PC has taken an almighty dump and won't boot properly with multiple BSOD errors.

I think it's a corrupted graphics card driver but until I can even get the darn thing to run so I can atempt a repair it's just going to drive me nuts.

Attempting to access restore/setup via a Win10 repair disc from my laptop.

Any joy Clive?

That's mightily annoying when you can't even run the thing; especially when you know what's causing the problem

A memory diagnostic check seems to point to a hardware related problem.

I fitted a Corsair H75 water cooler and a full rack of RAM from Cruical last month but have been monitoring temperature stats constantly to ensure stability.

I am going to throw the old RAM back in it in the morning and go from there.

Been playing Fallout 4 over the last couple of nights so possibly that may of stressed something too much.

Hope it's not graphics memory related as the current card is £250 to replace.

I presume you checked output from power rails, I've had a graphics memory failure a while ago. That turned out to be one 12V power rails only delivering 10V.

Should it be actual RAM chip failure, on the graphics card, and you're able to source a replacement - you can always borrow my SMD rework station, if you haven't got one of your own

Know what you mean, when I'm free it's raining and when it's not: I'm busy. I'm stockpiling things to add my Focus here, mud flaps, dashcam, ventfan and dog comfort system, EGR blanking plate came this morning,

Well, think I've narrowed the fault on my PC to the RAM.

Installed 4 8gb chips recently and now the system is running (sort of) it sees 32gb but only recognises 16gb as available.

Looks like I'll have to remove a pair at a time and see which ones are dead/failing and then Crucial will be getting a nice call.

System still unstable but as long as I don't tax it by touching anything ( :p ) then it works for a bit.

Pity is that I did a clean install and may not have needed to, loads of stuff to put back on if I can find the software/serials.

Good work Clive

Looks like Crucial sold you a lemon chip.
